| AN ENGLISHMAN ABROAD OFFERS A BRITISH TWIST |
Have you ever thought you'd met the Devil, flashed back to a previous era, or been "in a pickle"? If so, you'll recognize the people in
British Twist, a story collection by Worthington resident John Locke. The book will be released March 15 by Arcadian House, a Columbus-based independent publisher.
Stories in British Twist have a definite British flavor and as the name suggests, each features a twist at the end. From the thoughtful through the humorous to the scary, they'll leave you wondering. From the poignant to the ridiculous, these stories will bring a gentle smile or a belly laugh.
Locke, a native of Stourbridge, Worcestershire, England, has been a resident of Worthington for the past 5 years. He grew up listening to the BBC Radio, an organization renowned for its plays, stories and comedy shows. Since moving permanently to the U.S., he works fulltime as a public speaker and training consultant and is a well-known professional storyteller. Locke bills himself as An Englishman Abroad. An active member of Storytellers of Central Ohio, he also serves as outreach chair for The Columbus Folk Music Society. More information about Locke and
British Twist can be found on his website, www.AnEnglishmanAbroad.com.
